Thank you from CALM
I want to say one last time thank you to everyone who has donated to my 100KM Not Out charity challenge. It was a rollercoaster between catching COVID and getting a couple of injuries thrown in for good measure. I’ve truly enjoyed this challenge, being pushed out of my comfort zone at times but all for one of the most worthwhile charities.
At such uncertain times, financially, with the cost of living spiralling, it’s great to see that people are still willing to help make a difference in the lives of others.
I’ve just received the message (below) from CALM that I want to pass on to you all.

Thanks for raising £663.00 for CALM!
We hope you are proud of your amazing achievement. In 2021 we answered over 155,000 calls and chats. That’s more than 1 million minutes of talking to people who need us. And that’s only been possible thanks to the generosity of supporters like you.
We know the impact of suicide on family, friends and colleagues can be immense and long lasting, so it’s important to look after yourself. You can use the CALM helpline and webchat whenever you need it, and can find more support in Help Is at Hand and at www.supportaftersuicide.org.uk.
It’s been great following your journey, we hope you’ve enjoyed it.
That’s it from us! Have a great one, and thanks again for being an important member of #TeamCALM.
All the best,
Izzy and everyone at CALM HQ
